We carry every M word like a badge, a blueprint.
And somehow, in all that carrying…
we forget the one that matters just as much:
Myself.
I used to think M was just for "Mom”
for managing life and making it work.
But now I see it's so much more:
for important moments and the memories, I store.
M is for "maybe" when the world feels unsure,
for "mute" when my mind is begging for a blur.
For minutes that mattered and mornings I cried.
and the mask that comes off when I stop trying to hide.
It’s for the mistakes, both theirs and mine,
and life’s little miracles tucked in between the lines.
It’s for the dreams I chased, and the ones I dropped,
for all the times that I broke; and still didn't stop.
It’s for more: more love, more grace, more try.
More quiet victories that helped me rise.
It’s for mothering myself on days I come last…
for the girl that I was, and the woman I’ve surpassed.
So, here’s to the M Words; messy and true.
They carry the weight of the old and the new.
And if your heart feels a little undone…
you’re not alone.
You’re just becoming someone.
